British Shooting National Schools Finals

Congratulations to Josh Wegg, Charlie Gunns, Thomas Aldous, Emily Flowerdew and Daisy Burn for qualifying for the British Shooting National Schools finals.

The finals were held on the 4th and 5th of February in Cannock.

In the rifle event Charlie Gunns was superb in the Junior Sporter Rifle category and came away with the bronze medal after an excellent performance in the final.

In the 10m Precision Rifle Emily Flowerdew, Daisy Burn and Thomas Aldous won the Gold medal in the team event against a very high quality field.

Unfortunately, after shooting new personal best the week before, Josh came down with a nasty dose of flu so was unable to compete. In the pistol, this left Charlie Gunns who was competing in the Junior Pistol category. Charlie shot brilliantly and was awarded top pistol para shooter at the event.

We are so proud of the performances delivered and look forward to Josh returning for next years competition!

Everyone enjoyed a fun day of shooting, Christmas stalls, and hog roast and we look forward to returning to this event in December 2025.
